Care guide

Stainless steel

To take care of and prolong the life and shine of your jewelry we do recommend that you avoid applying perfume and lotion directly to it and avoid sweating, showering, and swimming with it. Products like creams, tans, makeup, hairspray, etc can contain harsh chemicals which can destroy the plating over time.

Bleach and chlorine are stainless steel’s biggest enemies and can really damage the jewelry. That is why we recommend taking your jewelry off before swimming in a pool.

Storing

Protect your jewelry by individually storing each piece in a box or a pouch with soft material to help avoid breaking, or scratching. Always pack your jewelry with care while traveling.

Cleaning

You can clean stainless steel jewelry with an old, soft toothbrush, mild dishwashing soap, and water. After it’s cleaned, rinse and lay on a towel to dry or wipe it dry with a soft cloth. Be sure it’s completely dry before storing it. You can also let the stainless steel jewelry soak in a bowl of soap and water for a few minutes and then wipe it with a soft cloth.

Freshwater pearls

If you want your freshwater pearls to look luster for a long time, try to avoid contact with perfume, hairspray, and chemicals in general. Don’t use your freshwater pearl jewelry in the shower or in the pool.

Storing

Always make sure your freshwater pearl jewelry is completely dry before storing. Don’t store your freshwater pearl jewelry in a place where it can get very hot since that can damage your pearls and make them crack. Use a non-airtight container when you’re not wearing them.

Cleaning

To clean your freshwater pearl jewelry you can wipe it with a damp soft cloth and even add a drop of olive oil on a cloth to maintain the luster. Avoid using cleaners, detergents, and brushes.

Plastic & acrylic beads

Cleaning

Wash plastic and acrylic beads using a soft cloth or sponge with water and a mild soap. Do not use any harsh materials when cleaning as this may wear down the surface and cause scratching. Once cleaned wipe off the soap with a damp cloth and leave it to dry naturally.
